Well said, Dave.

There have been several comments lately on the
sheer size of the archives, and the impossibility
of searching out information there. Having read
many of the posts over the last year or so, I
have decided to create a series of narratives
which provide a sampler of interesting, relevant,
and/or historical posts to the archive. My intent
is to document some of the "firsts" of
letterboxing in the US, as well as to provide
some of the flavor of letterboxing as it
was then - compared to how it is now.

Now that, Isosceles, is a great idea. Looking forward to reading. If anyone ever thought I meant we should dump archives, by the way, PLEASE banish the thought-- I definitely didn't think that and am one of the world's great pack-rats and have practically every precious email from my friends and family saved. I'm eternally grateful to the historians and pack-rats in our world. ---lunaryakketyact
